About
Hi, I'm Kris Sandahl, your teacher at Studio 405.
Here are a few facts about me:
• I've loved music my whole life and I worked through college to receive both a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Music.
• My formal training is in Vocal Performance, but I also play and teach Guitar and Piano.
• I've sang in many operas and shows, including Hansel and Gretel, where I played... Hansel!
• I have two daughters, Helena and Julia and I've been married for twenty-five years to my husband Jim
• I grew up in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona, then I have lived in California and Texas during my adult life.
• I taught Kindermusik for the community and then elementary school music class at Juan Cabrillo Elementary School in Malibu, CA.
• I've lived in Lakeway since 2005.
• I am passionate about teaching and getting to know each of my students in an individual way.
• Many students just call me "Miss Kris."
